Jikomboe Integral Development Association (JIDA) is a Non-governmental, Non-political and Non-profit making organization, formed in 1999, initially registered by the ministry of home affairs in November 2000, under societies ordinance of 1954, cap 337, with a certificate of registration SO.NO.10676. The organization was as well re-registered on 26th July 2019 under terms and conditions of Non-Governmental Act, number 24 of 2002 as amended in the year 2002 and 2019 with registration number ooNGO/R2/000196.
The major aim of the organization is to promote human development by fighting against all sorts of development constraints as well as offering relief services to Most vulnerable and marginalized groups. The emphasis is on promoting human development depending basically on local initiatives and locally available resources.
